La Condesa

La Condesa is one of the most traditional and beautiful districts in Mexico City and is named after Magdalena Dávalos de Bracamontes y Orozco, Countess of Miravalle, who owns a hacienda that in the eighteenth century extended all the way of the land that today occupies this exclusive colony. As an architectural ensemble, La Condesa is one of the best exponents of the Art Deco style, which gives it a touch of timeless elegance that no other neighborhood in the city can offer. Its location allows you to reach in a matter of minutes the main tourist attractions of the city by means of subway, bus, taxi, bicycle or private car.
At present, La Condesa is not only a haven of peace for walkers and cyclists, who offer jacuzzis and other varieties of trees, but a recreational center of incessant activity, full of cafes and restaurants with an inexhaustible gastronomic offer, as well as boutiques, bookstores, art galleries, bars, nightclubs and hundreds of attractions more.In the last year the government of the city of Mexico undertook a renovation of parks and avenues in the colony Rome and Condesa resulting in a general beautification of the area.
